Precision,
Not Promises.
Why Sharief Aesthetics chose the Vasculaze MAX laser for spider veins, reticular veins, and port wine stains — and the questions we asked before we did.
The Technology We Chose
Not Every Laser Earns A Place Here
Why Vasculaze MAX
Before any device is added to our protocols, Dr. Al-Sharief evaluates it the way he'd evaluate a treatment plan for a patient: what problem does it actually solve, and where does it fall short? Vasculaze MAX, part of the InMode Optimas Max platform, was chosen specifically for its peak power output against hemoglobin — the pigment inside spider veins and reticular veins on the legs.
What Happens Beneath The Skin
The laser wavelength is absorbed selectively by hemoglobin rather than surrounding tissue. That absorption generates heat precisely inside the vessel, collapsing its wall from within — no injection, no incision. The body clears the treated vein naturally over the following weeks, the same way it would reabsorb any collapsed vessel.
Spider & Reticular Vein Removal
The Legs' Most Common Vascular Concern
Why These Veins Appear
Spider veins and reticular veins on the legs are caused by weakened one-way valves that let blood pool and stretch the vessel wall until it becomes visible beneath the skin — a structural failure in the vein itself, not a cosmetic surface issue. The Vasculaze MAX laser is selected specifically for its peak power against hemoglobin, allowing it to target these vessels directly with no injection and no incision. The laser's heat collapses the vessel wall from within; your body clears the treated vein naturally over the following weeks.
What To Expect
Most patients see visible fading within one to three sessions, with mild redness in the treated area settling over a few days. This is one of the most consistently rewarding treatments we offer — a clear, no-needle path to visibly clearer legs.
The same laser also treats port wine stains — a separate, hereditary condition Dr. Al-Sharief has personally experienced and been treated for himself. That lived experience shapes how this condition is discussed in consultation, from first-hand understanding rather than a textbook.
Safe & Ergonomic Cooling
The Vasculaze MAX handpiece is engineered with a built-in contact cooling head. This helps improve patient comfort and protect the epidermis in real time as each pulse of targeted laser energy is delivered into the vessel.
